A rarely offered Maison Margiela design that transforms the traditional penny loafer into something far more subversive. Black calf hair covers the upper, while the exaggerated lug sole creates the heavy, architectural presence that defines Margiela footwear.  The calf hair is intended to evolve through wear. As portions naturally shed, the leather beneath is revealed, creating a distressed surface unique to its owner. Every shift in texture becomes part of the design; no two pairs will ever age alike. This is not a loafer meant to remain untouched—it becomes more individual with time.  Finished with Margiela’s signature white heel stitches and warm leather interior.
